Frequently asked questions
What is the best age to start Taekwondo?
Children can start as young as 4–5 years. We have age-wise batches, so beginners are always grouped with peers at a similar level. It's never too late — we also train teens and adults.
Where is Ganghan Taekwondo Academy located?
We're at Central Bank Colony, Mansoorabad, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad – 500074 — easily reached from Vanasthalipuram, Hayathnagar, Nagole and Kothapet.
How long has the academy been running?
Since 2014. In over a decade we've trained 3,000+ students under National Gold Medalist and Kukkiwon-certified coach Boddupally Venkat Sai Kumar.
Do I need any experience or equipment to join?
No. Most students start as complete beginners. Just wear comfortable clothes for your free trial; we'll guide you on the uniform (dobok) and gear once you enroll.
Are the instructors certified?
Yes. Our head coach is a 2nd Dan Black Belt certified by Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo's HQ) and a National Gold Medalist. The academy is affiliated with World Taekwondo, the Asian Taekwondo Union and the Indian Olympic Association, so belts and gradings are officially recognised.
